The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.
And this is becoming a growing problem, I think, because n

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil

Before we get to September lets tackle the last days of August

August 30 is the National Heroes Day in the Philippines...
we know our national heroes they are on textbooks etc...but there are heroes ..unsung heroes we see everyday .. like the street sweepers ..yeah if i could make a statue for each of them..i would
... fire fighters..ummm except for some issues on getting a building fire permit.. ehem ... your teachers ... underpaid intellectuals.. ehem.. ehem.. ... garbage collectors, construction workers, carpenters, electricians, real peace keepers, an honest government employee and official etc.?.( if they exist) .. ordinary people like us...
the farmers that feeds us ...are heroes ..they should have more benefits too

August 30 is also the day my big brother's wife gave birth to a healthy baby boy.. yehey.. I got a new nephew.. another boy for kuyaboboy.. it was rather a few days early because September was supposed to be the due date.

August 31 is a major event in the comics world..
Walt Disney bought Marvel Entertainment.. i hope it would be good.. i don't know what to say.. "just don't make a wolverine, punisher and ghostrider musical" or a "wolverine versus Winnie the pooh" anyway DC comics is owned by Warner Bros. for many years and i havent heard so far of a Batman/Bugs Bunny crossover.. it worked out pretty good.

September is my birth month... im a virgo.. the last day of virgo.. i have plans for my birthday.. last year i planted five little trees for my birthday.. i wish i could see them as big big trees in the years to come... this year i plan a street party.. but no lights and music.. i want to.. at least feed 30 street children and beggars for my 30th birthday.. i wish i could afford it.. its hard to be poor because its harder to help those even poorer. gosh i must be old.. 30 years of a non-existent existence.
my birthday wish would be to have a Daily Deviation award ehem...
i know it would not happen.. nobody is featuring and suggesting my name.. im almost invisible here in DA. anyway my real wish is to just exist.. in which its never been done.. to just be myself.. but im still deprived of it.

today september one is the birthday of a legendary artist..tadah..mister Joe Jusko... the most awesome comics painter.
